How much are tuition fees?
Basic fees for an individual lesson are: $44 per half hour lesson, $66 per 45 minute lesson, or $88.00 per hour. There is a one off enrolment fee of $88 for students that have not learnt with us before.
Students in our great Forte School of Music Classes are invoiced by the school term – usually $320 for a 10 week term.

How do I use the student portal?

What are the course fees?

What is the tuition length?
20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour.
How can we be sure that our teacher is right for us?
We provide thorough training for all our teachers. If, at any point, a student’s needs suggest that a change of teacher would be beneficial, our management team will carefully ensure another tutor is matched more effectively to support the student’s progress.
At the Music Education Centre, our students’ safety and musical growth are always our top priorities. All our tutors are fully qualified and police-vetted professionals, dedicated to guiding and inspiring learners in safe, purpose-built teaching spaces.

What level of tuition – beginners or advanced?
We teach all levels, from beginner to advanced students.
Do I need my own instrument?
Yes. You should have an instrument at home to practice between lessons. Whilst we have pianos, keyboards and drums at the centres, students of other instruments will need to bring their instrument to each lesson.
Can I hire an instrument?

How do I pay?
We accept: credit card, cash, eftpos, or direct credit. All lessons are invoiced in advance (monthly for centre's, termly for in-schools). Lesson fees not paid may attract a late fee of $15 per month outstanding
Can I have a refund if I change my mind?
Following the requirements of the Consumer Guarantees Act, a refund can only be given if the centre is unable to provide the service that has been booked and paid for. With this in mind, students should expect to complete all lessons that they have paid for. Alternatively students will be offered vouchers to the value of their overpayment so that they can use the lessons at some time in the future.
