INTRODUCE YOUR LITTLE ONE TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF MUSIC!

Music is Fun is a wonderful music experience for children from the age of three-and-a-half up to four-and-a-half years old. It was designed and developed by the highly respected Forte School of Music.

The aim of the programme is to introduce your child to learning music in a fun and enjoyable way.

The course uses keyboards with games and other activities that will be engaging for your child while also helping them learn. It starts the processes of learning music.

JUNIOR KEYS PROGRAMME

For children aged 4.5 to 7

WATCH YOUR CHILD FLOURISH WITH MUSIC

Your child will fall in love with music with our Junior Keys classes. The best way to start learning piano in a FUN and educational way.

Junior Keys is suitable for children from four-and-a-half to seven-years-old.

It is a foundation piano course developed by the popular and respected Forte School of Music.

Junior Keys is a group course that will help to develop your child’s music skills. Our goal is to create a platform for your child, so they can go on to learning the piano or any other instrument.

Not only is this a wonderful cross-curricular learning experience but it is fun and sociable too.

Your child will learn a range of skills in an entertaining way including:

  • Ear training to help them understand pitch so they can recognise notes by ear
  • Music theory including the symbols commonly used in music
  • Reading music
  • Composing music
  • Keyboard harmonies
  • And of course a fantastic start in playing the piano!

FORTE FESTIVAL – CELEBRATING OUR STUDENTS’ MUSICAL JOURNEY

At the Music Education Centre, student performances are a vital part of our educational approach. More than just showcasing musical skills, these events help us build stronger connections with families and give both teachers and students a meaningful goal to work toward throughout the year.
The Forte Festival is a special afternoon where Junior Keys and Music is Fun students, alongside their teachers, proudly share everything they’ve worked on in a warm and joyful setting — a true moment of pride, inspiration, and celebration.
